This standard outlines the technical specifications for a multi-function water pump control valve, applicable to valves with nominal pressure ranging from PN1.0MPa to PN4.0MPa and nominal diameters between DN50mm and DN1200mm. The following technical requirements are detailed below:
**1. Pressure-Temperature Rating**
The pressure-temperature rating of the multi-function water pump control valve is determined by the housing, internal components, and the material of the control piping system. The maximum allowable working pressure at a given temperature is the lowest value among the maximum allowable pressures of the housing, internal parts, and control pipe materials at that temperature.
For cast iron casings, the pressure-temperature class must comply with GB/T 17241.7, while for steel casings, it should follow GB/T 9124. If these standards do not specify the pressure-temperature classes for certain materials, relevant standards or design regulations should be applied.
**2. Valve Body**
**Body Flange**
The flange should be integrally cast with the valve body. For cast iron flanges, the type and size must conform to GB/T 17241.6, and technical conditions must meet GB/T 17241.7. Steel flanges must adhere to GB/T 9113.1, with technical conditions complying with GB/T 9124.
**Minimum Wall Thickness**
The minimum wall thickness for cast iron bodies should follow Table 3 of GB/T 13932-1992, while for cast steel bodies, it should meet the requirements of Table 1 in JB/T 8937-1999.
**3. Bonnet and Diaphragm Seat**
The connection between the bonnet and diaphragm seat, as well as between the diaphragm seat and the valve body, should be flanged. There must be at least four connecting bolts between the diaphragm seat and the valve body. The minimum wall thickness of the bonnet and diaphragm seat should match the requirements specified in section 2.3. The flanges should be round, with sealing surfaces available in flat, convex, or concave types.
**4. Stem, Slow-Closing Valve Plate, and Main Valve Plate**
The slow-closing valve plate and stem must be securely and reliably connected. Both the slow-closing valve plate and main valve plate should use metal seals. The main valve plate and stem must be flexible and reliable, and the main valve plate can be sealed using either metal or non-metallic seals.
**5. Diaphragm**
The performance of the diaphragm must meet the criteria outlined in Table 2 (see next page). The appearance quality should conform to HG/T 3090. When used for drinking water, the diaphragm material must meet the safety requirements of GB/T 17219.
**6. Control Tube System**
All components of the control tube system must withstand the highest operating pressure of the valve without leakage.
**7. Materials**
The selection of key parts and materials should follow the provisions of JB/T 5300. Copper alloy castings must comply with GB/T 12225; gray cast iron castings must meet GB/T 12226 with a tensile strength of at least 200 MPa; ductile iron castings must conform to GB/T 12227; carbon steel castings should follow GB/T 12229; and austenitic steel castings must meet GB/T 12230.
The surface quality of steel and cast iron components should comply with JB/T 7927.
**8. Shell Strength**
The shell strength of the multi-function water pump control valve must meet the requirements of GB/T 13927.
**9. Sealing Performance**
The sealing performance of the valve must comply with GB/T 13927.
**10. Cleanliness**
The cleanliness of the valve must meet the standards set in JB/T 7748.
**11. Painting**
