Fluid steel pipe manufacturing method

1. The general boiler tubes are typically used in environments where the temperature remains below 450°C. In domestic applications, these tubes are primarily manufactured from carbon steel, either hot-rolled or cold-drawn, such as grades 10 or 20. These materials are chosen for their cost-effectiveness and suitability for standard operating conditions.

2. High-pressure boiler tubes, on the other hand, are exposed to more extreme conditions, including high temperatures and pressures. Under such circumstances, the tubes may experience oxidation and corrosion due to the presence of high-temperature flue gases and steam. Therefore, they must be made from materials that offer superior durability, excellent corrosion resistance, and strong structural stability to ensure long-term performance and safety.

(2) Applications:

1. General boiler tubes are commonly used in various components such as water-cooled walls, boiling water pipes, superheated steam pipes, and both large and small smoke tubes and arch brick pipes in locomotive boilers. They are essential for maintaining efficient heat transfer and system integrity under normal operational conditions.

2. High-pressure boiler tubes are critical in high and ultra-high pressure boilers, where they are used for superheater tubes, reheater tubes, air guide tubes, and main steam pipes. These components require high-performance materials to withstand the demanding thermal and mechanical stresses they encounter.

While round pipes are widely used, they do have certain limitations. For example, when subjected to bending in a plane, round pipes are not as strong as square or rectangular pipes. As a result, square and rectangular pipes are often preferred in applications such as agricultural machinery frames, steel wood furniture, and other structures requiring enhanced rigidity. Additionally, depending on the specific application, other cross-sectional shapes like oval, triangular, or custom profiles may be required to meet functional and structural needs.
