Before sowing, soil treatment is an effective method. You can apply 48% trifluralin emulsifiable concentrate at 100–150 ml per mu, 48% dimethenamid-P EC at 200 ml, 33% fluroxypyr emulsifiable concentrate at 100–150 ml, or 50% acetochlor emulsion at 75–150 ml, all diluted in 50 kg of water. These products should be applied to the soil and incorporated within 2–3 cm immediately after spraying, as they are prone to photolysis and volatilization, which may reduce their effectiveness. They work well against grassy weeds like foxtail and broadleaf weeds such as chickweed and bindweed.
For post-emergence soil treatment after sowing, you can mix 48% pendimethalin EC at 200 ml, 25% oxadiazon EC at 100 ml, 20% chlorpropham at 700–1000 ml, 50% chlorpyrifos WP at 60 g, 48% trifluralin EC at 100–150 ml, 72% metribuzin EC at 100–150 ml, 50% pretilachlor WP at 100–200 g, and spray the mixture with 50–75 kg of water.
