Method for testing plastic construction templates

There are several methods to test the quality of plastic construction templates. These tests help ensure that the material can withstand different environmental conditions and maintain its structural integrity during use.

First, to check for summer mold deformation and warping, take a sample of the plastic construction template and immerse it in hot water at 70°C for 5 minutes. After removing it, try to manually bend or stretch the mold. If the plate returns to its original shape and hardens properly, it is considered acceptable. However, if it remains soft or deforms easily, it may not be suitable for use in high-temperature environments.

Second, to evaluate the performance of the template in cold conditions, such as winter cracking or demolding issues, place a sample in a refrigerator set to -10°C for 24 hours. After this period, attempt to drive a nail into the edge of the template. If the material cracks or breaks, it is likely to fail under cold conditions, which could lead to problems during installation or long-term use.
