Because the seat material is usually made of plastic, fire resistance and fire safety are important considerations in the design and application of ball valves, especially in industries such as petroleum, chemical, and metallurgy, where flammable and explosive media are common. In such environments, it's crucial to select ball valves that can withstand high temperatures and prevent leakage during fire incidents.
Ball valves are ideal for systems requiring two-position control, tight sealing, and minimal leakage into the atmosphere.
