877 kinds of Taiwan "plasticizer" food lifted

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) issued the "Announcement on the Release of Taiwan's Food Import Restriction Measures." It had previously restricted importation of Taiwanese food to mainland China due to pollution involving phthalates (plasticizers) and began to lift the ban.

According to the list of enterprises and related products concerning plasticizer contamination disclosed by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the list of “lifting bans” includes 877 items. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, Inspection and Quarantine announced that the reason for the lifting of the ban was that the risk of phthalate ester contamination in food imported from Taiwan to the mainland had been effectively controlled in view of the fact that Taiwan’s relevant parties had completely removed, recycled, and destroyed plastic food contaminated food. . After research, they agreed to lift Taiwan's food import restrictions.

At the same time, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine requires that local inspection and quarantine agencies carry out inspections of foods and Food Additives imported from Taiwan and phthalate esters in accordance with relevant regulations. If they do not meet national standards, they may not be imported.

Prior to this, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued a list of companies and related products that were affected by the problem of plasticizer contamination. At that time, more than 1,000 products were suspended from the mainland due to contamination by plasticizers.
