Suzhou Nano Wearable Flexible Bionic Nanosensor Research Progress

A flexible bionic sensor is an artificially flexible electronic device that is used to implement human-like sensing functions (tactile, olfactory, taste, auditory, visual, etc.). In recent years, with the development of flexible electronics, due to its great application potential in the fields of consumer electronics, military, medical and health and other electronic information industries, the development of new types of attachable, wearable, portable, foldable, etc. The study of flexible electronics devices has attracted extensive attention from researchers at home and abroad and has gradually become one of the most important frontier research fields.

Recently, a researcher at the Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nanobionics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhang Jian Group, reported on a new type of flexible wearable biomimetic touch sensor - artificial bionic electronic skin. The relevant research results have been published in the latest issue of Advanced Materials, 2014, 26, 1336-1342, and were selected as cover articles.

Based on the previous controllable preparation of ultrathin films of single-walled carbon nanotubes (Journal of Materials Chemistry, 2012, 22, 21824-21827), the author proposes to use inexpensive and complicated micro-nano processing techniques that are different from conventional ones. The method of silk as a template realizes the controllable preparation of a micro-nanostructured thin film and combines it with a self-supporting single-walled carbon nanotube ultrathin film to construct a high sensitivity (1.8 Kpa-1) and a low detection limit (0.6). Pa) and high stability (>67,500) flexible bionic electronic skin, and successfully applied to the real-time rapid detection of human body physiological signals such as pulse and voice, through the weak pressure changes caused by the movement of the throat muscle groups when talking to the human body The analysis of pulse waveforms and changes in pulse waveforms have initially achieved accurate detection of speech recognition and different physiological states of the human body, and promoted the application of wearable devices in speech-assisted output systems, human health assessment, and pre-disease diagnosis.
