The lodging of rice is related to plant height, base internode length, stem material, panicle type, root system and cultivation conditions.

 

First, the dwarf or lodging-resistant varieties should be selected and cultivated. Appropriate increase in plant height is to increase the material productivity of the group, which is the direction of increasing biological yield and economic output. At present, most of the rice production and application are high-stalk large-ear type varieties. In order to ensure the high yield and stable yield of rice, one advocates rare plants, and reasonable thinning can improve the lodging resistance of rice. Tian, ​​improving the quality of the field is conducive to improving the lodging resistance of rice.

 

Secondly, a reasonable ratio of N , P and K can enhance the toughness of rice stems. Applying silicon Fertilizer in the early stage of rice jointing can increase rice yield and improve rice lodging resistance. At the late growth stage of rice, spraying fertilizers such as silicon, potassium and calcium to increase the lodging resistance of rice.

 

Finally, the regulation of chemically active substances is used to prevent rice from lodging. Mainly to improve the morphological and physiological traits associated with lodging to improve the lodging resistance of rice. The main products are chlormequat, paclobutrazol, uniconazole, and auxin. These products are applied during the jointing stage of rice, which shortens and thickens the internodes of rice and improves the lodging resistance of rice.
