Qixian County is actively working to expand its stone processing capabilities. Within three years, it is expected to reach a production volume of over 20 million square meters, generating more than 540 million yuan in output value. This growth is set to make the area the leading stone industry center in Xinjiang.
The Jixian Stone Industrial Park currently spans 10.31 square kilometers. To date, four major stone enterprises, each with investments exceeding 50 million yuan, have started operations, contributing a total annual output value of over 120 million yuan. The stone industry has rapidly become one of the most dynamic sectors in the local economy. Zhang Zhihong, Deputy Director of the Jixian Stone Industrial Park Management Committee, stated that the park plans to bring more than 20 stone processing companies into operation within three years. These companies are expected to collectively process over 20 million square meters of stone, generating an output value of 540 million yuan and contributing 45 million yuan to the local government. With the establishment of over 60 new stone enterprises, the county is on track to become the largest stone production base in Xinjiang.
